Fabergé's Workshop at Bolshaya Morskaya 24

In the center of the historic district of St. Petersburg, the four-story double-winged building at 24 Bolshaya Morskaya has been looked upon for nearly a century as the House of Fabergé.

During the years 1898 to 1917, it contained the workshops, salesrooms and apartment of Carl Fabergé.

The Fabergé Arts Foundation is dedicated to restoring this house as a monument to his work. The transformation of the building into a museum and center for education will stimulate a deeper appreciation of his works as well as his unique gift for cultural entrepreneurship.
